Agency for Digital Government

DIGG is a new government authority, created to think creatively, address new challenges and identify new opportunities. Our job is to support and promote – to benefit everyone.

Digital accessibility

DIGG is working to improve digital accessibility on all public websites and digital platforms. Digital services and information should be based on user needs and be accessible to everyone.

Digital post

More than four million people are using a digital mailbox to where they receive digital mail from the public sector. Digital mail is fast, secure, free, friendly to the environment, and always accessible.

Digital identity

DIGG supports and coordinates electronic identification and signature, on a national and international level for the public sector. DIGG reviews eID issuers and grants the trust mark, Svensk e-legitimation, based on assurance levels.

E-commerce and e-invoicing

DIGG supports you within the public sector with your questions concerning e-commerce and e-invoicing. Our work includes standardisation connected to e-commerce within SFTI's framework. DIGG also serve as Sweden's Peppol-authority.

About us

DIGG is a new government authority, created to think creatively, address new challenges and identify new opportunities. We started on September 1, 2018. Several reports and inquiries have concluded that governance of digital administration is complex and overly fragmented. DIGG has collective responsibility for these issues in order to achieve more transparent governance toward the goals set by the central government.
